- Character Notes -
Even before the Mage War broke out Nicholas created problems for himself. Living in Miragon the only life that he was able to create for himself was the life of a Thief. Even though Nicholas hated it his skills far surpassed everyone else's. He created a name for himself by stealing some very precious magical items and jewels. Nicholas continued on his path unaware of anything else that he could choise until he crossed paths with Juliet. The one thing that Nicholas couldn't do was to hurt a woman and when he saw that a strange woman, who he would later get to know as Juliet, being robbed by some bandits Nicholas jumped in the was to take a knife in place of Juliet. Even knowing Nicholas's true nature Juliet fell in love with the man himself. Fullfilling Juliet's wishes to be taken to the man with whom she was arranged to be married to with which Nicholas agreed to do. Upon meeting the Duke of the Augustine Empire in the common year (cy) 995 Nicholas knew that Juliet was far to good for the likes of that man and with the time that they spent together Juliet ended up falling in love with Nicholas agreeing that she didn't want to marry the Duke. Being an arranged marriage, the Duke didn't care for the ways of love and upon hearing of Nicholas's wishes to marry Juliet the Duke had Nicholas cursed with lycanthorpy so that he would never be able to touch to one he loved. Being cursed in the body of a Were-Wolf each night Nicholas researched the only way to release himself from that curse, which was to kill the person whom cursed him in the first place. With the help of a group of travelers under the tutalidge of a strange man by the name of Dre - Nicholas was able to face the Duke as a human. He demanded that the Duke lift the curse so that he and his loved one Juliet would be able to live in peace together. The Duke had other plans and killed Juliet before he would give her up. The Duke was killed by his mistress, Queen Diana, but Nicholas only cared about burying the one he loved under the tree that they made their bond of friendship. As Nicholas gave a prayer over her grave the sun set on final time however, Nicholas stayed as a human just like he has since. With Juliet dead and buried Nicholas joined along with the adventurers when they said that they could fullfill his greatest wish. Of course the only thing that Nicholas wanted was for the one he loved, Juliet, to come back to him and live again.

Nicholas followed along with the adventurers down south past Croc's Crossin to Kleinburg where they ran into a female elf of unparrallel beauty by the name of Charisma. Like those people (the adventurers) always did before they found some injustice and decided to solve it in their own fashion. By doing that they followed the elves that kidnapped Charisma, to be witnesses in her trial, to saving Charisma from the Orcs, to having her join that Party's cause. It seemed that the group of Rohm, Darwin, and Wes gained more people as they continued their journey. As the Party, Nicholas, and Charisma were fighting the Master Vampire 'Eddie Fiori' in Volkrad (which is the Southern Capital on the 'Sword Coast') Nicholas and Charisma gained an inherient trust between themselves since everyone else in the Party seemed to be holding some secret. However while they followed along with 'this' Party they found themselves doing more good for the land then they had ever before. By Following Darwin and his army to its conclusion Nicholas was able to get his wish granted (by a means that he has not told anyone) and was able to have Juliet by his side once again.

Nicholas only kept one secret from Juliet and not long after the marriage, which occurred not long after the 'Mage War' ended, Nicholas and Juliet had a baby boy. Shortly after Juliet had this pregnency she was killed by Xenio, the vampire lord, who was seeking revenge upon Nicholas for something that he did. Nicholas raised this child as best as he could making sure that he would be the on who could be his successor in the Rebel Alliance. After Clive complete all of his training with Charisma for all of those years he finally returned to his father, Nicholas, who was very please with how Clive grew up so he appointed him the greatest mission of protecting Elly. Of course since 'Python' was expecting to be giving this sacred mission, not only because of his love of Elly but also his supirior power over everyone else in the Rebel Alliance, he rebelled against Nicholas and splintered the rebels into two groups. Of course that problem was over shadowed by Nicholas's complete hatered of Xenio whom Nicholas kept alive only because of some crucial information that Xenio was able to give to the rebels, against Nicholas's better judgement.

And it came back to haunt him when Myr warned him that Rose and Orin were making a move against the rebels. Nicholas moved with all due haste to Xenio's prison to find that the siblings had released that horror. Since the siblings didn't seem to want to fight he didn't worry about them and told all of his rebels to get out to the streets and help out as they could. Back out on the streets Nicholas came up to help Elly and was very surprised and relieved when Clive fell through the sky to land on the ground between them and a bulette. As the Party was able to drain Uber-Xenio of his strength and power Nicholas took his sword back and brought it down on Xenio correcting the mistake he made earlier. He had one last job to do and it was going to be the hardest thing that he ever had to do. Python was his only connection to his love Juliet and he had a hard time to do what was necessary. "I'm sorry," Nicholas said to the slightly revived Python, "I should have been a better father Christian."
Christian looked up at Nicholas and said, "Yes you should have." and with that Nicholas made sure that no more people would be harmed or killed from Christian's actions.

As Nicholas saw his son, Clive, leave on another dangerous journey he though about all of the things that he had done in his life. Both the things that he loved and regretted. He looked over at Elly who couldn't do anything but worry about Clive. Nicholas knew that look and also knew how she felt because he had also felt it. "Elly," asked Nicholas, "I need you to deliver something for me. Then I want you to do something for yourself."
