- Character Notes -
Clive is a person who doesn't seem to want to trust anyone, he keeps his few friends close to him and is cautious about everyone else. However, he seems to be working towards a goal that is similar to the Party. He entrusted the sealed scroll, an item that he despertly wanted, to the Party trusting them to break the magical seals. He then even entrusted Elly with the party because he needed to travel very fast and needed to make sure Elly was safe.

Clive needed to return to his father who is the leader of the resistance because of some disturbing news that he found out, but he was not inclined to talk to the Party what the information was. Returning to Port Drake later then expected he was unable to find the Party or Elly anywhere. Finding out what happened in Port Drake, Micheal's attack, he went to where he would expect they might go and found the mess that the Party left in Dunnealgate. Being not that far behind the Party he tracked them down as quickly as he could and was able to save Myr's life when he jumped in front and took the brunt of Charisma's arrow. Since Charisma was both his surrogate Aunt and teacher of ranged attacks she stopped her attack immediately so she could save Clive's life.

When the Party was trudging through the Swamp of Dispear Clive and Charisma took foot for the land so they could divert Barrel-lith's attention. However after clawing Charisma the Psudo-Dragon released it's breath weapon upon the Party, seeing Elly fall Clive screamed out and went back into the Swamp to save her. He cared for her more than he should of and that was the reason that he risked his life to save her. But, soon after the Party entered East Cameron Clive went to patrol around the town; then Micheal dropped the Hand of God upon the town wiping out everything. At the outskirts of the town Clive was able to find some of Micheal's men who he followed since he knew he would lose them if he went for backup. However he was suprised when some more of them ambushed him. Clive was able to take down a few himself but was glad when Charisma came to his rescue. She told Clive what she found out from the men in Micheal's patrol camp. Clive knew what this meant and tried to rush back to East Cameron before Micheal's bombs exploded. He didn't care about himself but needed to make sure that Elly would be safe. He was stopped by Charisma and held at bay until they were both knocked down by the deafening blast. Clive wept his tears for Elly as Charisma dragged him along with her so they could find some fast transportation. They were able to steal a skimmer airship for some of Micheal's men so they could travel with all due haste to Miragon before another one of Micheal's plans comes to fruition.

They made it to Miragon at the same time that both the bulettes and Xenio were released and when Clive heard Elly scream out his heart skipped a beat. Finding her alive was the greatest thing for him but seeing her surrounded by the bulettes he knew that she would last very long. So Clive took the direct route down by jumping out of the airship and landing on the ground between Elly and one of the bulettes. He faced another challenge when Python tried to attack him and take Elly away, but Python was stopped by Enutrof. Then Uber-Xenio landed in the middle of the group and Clive took his father's sword to the vampire and was able to hurt him bad. Though with Xenio's new found strength he was able to take Clive down. Elly cradled his body until he was finally revived.

When Myr and Enutrof visited Clive and Nicholas at their home Clive made a decision to follow them until the end of Micheal. If Micheal was let loose to roam the lands on his own the future would not be bright. Clive would never want to bring up his children in such a world and he knew he had to do something about it. Once Micheal was taken from these lands he would return to Elly and ask her to marry him and until that time when Elly would be safe he asked her to stay behind and wait for him. Clive traveled through the Gate to Micheal's Keep to do battle with Moray and his golems. The biggest surprise for Clive will come when he sees the Gate open again after Sebastian walks through.

Micheal's castle was their destination and since they didn't know where it was Charisma had to lead them to some people she knew. Shorin was able to tell them that Micheal was the same man who destroyed their village and sent them to the trees. But they were able to track him back to his castle, "It's Ro'Jo'Ress," Shorin told Charisma and she knew where it was. With this knew information they were able able to find their way to Micheal's castle. Clive's problem in the final battle came when Micheal's Iron Golem smashed its away through a wall moving as quickly as it could at the Party. No one in the Party had a weapon strong enough to even hurt if Clive knew as he saw Jonis walk out to meet it. That was when he was reminded of his father's gift, the sword 'Shadow's Bane'. He unsheathed the sword to hold the golem at bay while everyone else had to deal with the Shield Golems and Micheal himself. Coming in low to attack the Iron Golem Clive was able to strike its hardened armor shell repediatelly wearing it down slowly over time. With some help from Jonis before he left the fight and Elly healing him from his mortal wounds Clive was able to hold his own against the beast. Even before the battle against this monsterous figure was over with Jonis left the battle leaving Clive and Elly to take the beast on itself. The Damascus metal of the enchanted 'Shadow's Bane' tore through the armor taking the beast apart. The Iron Golem fell to the ground in pieces lying by his feet as he clutched his side. After Micheal's Castle was disintigrated by his own bombs Clive and Elly decided that they should return to what they were doing before they met the Party.
