page 5 - 'Pax Tharkas, stone skin and empty halls'
part 2 of 3

Finding a strange platinum coin with a etching of a dalphin on its back lead the PCs to a bar that they have been to before, the 'Dalphin Tavern'. Each entering separtly Cade sat down at the bar to inquirer about the etching, which he crudly drew on a napkin. The Bartender didn't seem to be too interested in Cade until he mentioned Christian's name and then flashed the coin. After sitting down at an empty corner table a serving wench came over and asked him a few questions then finally suggested that he was getting into more then he could handle and that he should leave. Of course when someone says that you have to check it out, which Cade did by sneaking into the back. About to be found out Cade took a hiding spot which just happened to be a trap door which he fell into and landing on some dirt. Finding himself in underground catacombs he started to look around seeing some people who he thought were the Rogues. On his own the best plan that he could think was, "Hello, I'm not your enemy can we talk?" quickly after he was locked in a cell.

Back above ground Myr and Enutrof were getting worried and Enutrof decided to follow to where Cade went. Myr made a distraction with a ghost sound and Enutrof was able to find the same passage. Making somewhat better progress then Cade a blond man lead Enutrof back to the cell area to see the halfling. Giving them the third degree about why they were there and where they are from the only answers he got were , "looking for our friend Christian", "from the 'end of the world' to the west". He got fed up by the dodging answers and many questions but decided that they were not a threat. So he let them go but gave them a friend that is now tagging along, Elly.

Elly tried to explain that they weren't really bad people and they want to speak with the mayor, for reasons she doesn't specifically go into. The PCs thought that they would be able to do it even though their group has been trying for a long while.

Myr who has been watching from a distance since Elly joined the group saw something very interesting late one night.
