Over fifty years ago the strongest men and mages gathered together under the flags that they believed in fron the Sword Coast to the Shield Coast. A Costly battle raged fron the southern depths of the moon coast the the frozen northern sun coast and encompassing the entire continent of Tyboria. Men of great power tried to surpass the Gods and rule the lands under their power and this war was deemed the Mage War because this would be the last time that the powers granted by the Gods, Magik, would be coalessed into one place to be used. Countles people lost their lives just because one man's actions behind the curtain of war was trying to find the only weapon that would be able to kill himself, Longinus. Nobody except Darwin and his coterie knew about this person who was no longer considered a man because he caused everything from the shadows pulling strings as a puppeteer. Darwin gathered an army to take on Longinus's forces only finally understanding the depths of Longinus's pain when he was able to meet the man face to face right before he tried to kill himself with the newest weapon Atmose. The Spear of Destiny was granted onto the hands of Darwin himself and as he plowed through the lands he lost no battles as army upon army bowed down to his force. Understanding the true power of the weapon his friends took it from him to return it to where they found it only to have Longinus trail them into the Talocian mountains forgoing anything else. He took it from them but at the last moment was unable to kill himself and when Darwin entered the sacred temple he found Longinus begging Darwin to end his miserable life. Even after all of the horror that he cause the only thing that Darwin could see was a pitiful creature in front of him begging to end the pain and the spear controlled him no longer. Instead Darwin left his army in Harfein to set up a defense against any such people that would do such a thing against humanity and went into the heart of the danger to stop it with his own hands.

Ravaged by the Mage War many people lost heart in the gods and their powers of magic which gave Longinus his chance to enter the world again. Renaming himself as Sebastian and cursing the names of the gods that cursed him he waged a war against them and their magikal beasts in the protection of the people of this termoiled land. Not understanding why he was unable to end his pain so long ago the only thing that he had left was revenge against them, Gods. People rose up from the dust of the war to claim power and Michael answered, "No, I'm not a God. To be a God you have to get people to believe in you because all of the GOOD Gods started out as regular guys and worked their way up. Christianity wasn't spread by love. It was spread at the point of a sword. There were crusades, there were inquisitions, there were soldiers saying, 'Believe or Die!' As his starting point of creatures claiming to be god Sebastian took his war to this Michael character easily taking him out of the equation.

When the Seven-Winged-Demon Dragon came through the the land destroying many cities found a chance to continue to expand the borders of his kingdom from Waterdeep and Ceartree to as far south as Croc's Crossing. Out of the ashes of the Dragon's destruction Sebastian moved into these cities and many others promising a crusade against the beasts that have been plaging the land. As proof he pointed towards the sky and to the hundreds of thousands of people that the dragon had killed. With the Crimson Knights he began his Crusade to kill any and all creatures that did not belong in nature to destroy all magik so that the Gods will finally take notice.

Cade, Enutrof, Kai, Myr, and Loridia were lost for almost two months when the Prism Citadelt disappeared from the akies. Harfein's mandate had changed since the Demon Dragon came out of no where it seemed that Sebastian/Longinus had just become the lesser of two evils. With Black-eyed creatures, people of tremendous power, and weapons of power, and now a Dragon that no one had ever seen before it seemed as though nothing that Darwin predicted was turning out how it was suppose to Harfein had been caught of guard with an unknown future. Whether Sebastian, the Black Army, or someone else won it doesn't seem as though the future has any brightness to it. The only problem is that the Spear of Power that Darwin willingly gave up will be coming back soon and theres no telling who will possess it or what will happen because of it.
