Synopsis of the Story so far. . .
Harfein stood high above the world in the Talocian Mountains waiting to protect a world that was ravaged by the Mage War that ripped apart the lands and people over 44 years ago. The lands stood in silence now with its denizens being either afriad or weary of magicians and magic itself. The Soldiers of Harfein have been separated so long from the lands waiting for their dwarven leader, Darwin to return. Darwin was one of the four major players who helped to stop the Mage War with his army, his Axe, and his Leadership.

Scouting teams from Harfein were sent in all directions to see what is happening in the world an who the threats might be. Allysia, Cade, Enutrof, and Myr were sent to Pax Tharkas, the western Dwarven capital. They found the cities of Pax Tharkas, Croc's Crossing, Brandywine, and Port Drake all had something happening in them. Along with the help of Clive and Elly they found that in each city there was someone who has been fused with Automail, a sort of magical metal protection that fuses with the users own flesh. It seems this Automail isn't perfected seeing as how Krass and Innster both succummed to a sickness that took over their body and mind in the form of a purple puss and made them go insane.

Shageon Drangonsbane of Brandywine and Vichorn Duskwalker of Port Drake were two who were also fused with the Automail, however they wanted to meet with the party at Port Drake and thank them for destroying the two who went psycho. Although Vichorn hide the identity of his master he and Shageon were completely fine until they crossed paths with Dio Elaclaire. Dio who had been following the party and helping them along the way didn't like the Automail because he said that it 'was a curruption upon the flow of magic'. Dio was determined to find who was behind the Automail with that in mind he plunged his arm into both Shageon and Vichorn with results that even Dio didn't expect. However Vichorn was able to wisper an answer to Dio's question before the Automail was triggered and his body became infected with the purple puss.

The Disturbing news was that on that day was when Micheal's people attacked Port Drake. With only a dozen people and wielding magic that hasnen't been seen in the lands for years they were able to destroy many buildings much of the Tri-Tower and many of the Dukes guards. With the help of some Crimson Knights who were there and all of the party members they were able to stop the currupted Shageon, currupted Vichorn, and all of Micheals men. The Duke of Port Drake and Sebastion, leader of the Crimson Knights, thanked the party for destroying such evil magic from the land. As a gift from Sebastian the party recieved an Airship of a gift.

However, with the power that Micheal was able to wield and the fact that everyone who severed him believed him to be a God and nothing else lead the party to some disturbing conclusions. Since Dio was lost after being run through with a Wyvern's stinger and falling a couple hundred meters the parties only lead being the town of Dunnealgate, which is where they heard Micheal's people came from, they headed back to Harfein before their trip into the unknown.
