SYNOPSIS OF THE STORY

The Year was 997 when the Mage War broke out. The Six Great Nations of the West battled over land, sea, and air. Those who had the power were victorious in battle and the power lay in the hands of Mages. During this time a great dwarven warrior named Darwin of Pax Tharkas arose and drew a army like no other from people he rescued and enemies who he turned. He lead his army through many great battles losing many of his soldies, without wanting any more to die he decided that he and his 4 companians would enter the heart of the Augustine Empire and kill the evil mage Logenous who was the cause of all this distruction. Darwin left his army in Harfein, an ancient castle in the Talocian mountains, and told them to wait until he comes back because if anything went wrong they would be the only ones who would be able to protect the lands.

They diligently waited for over 40 years just outside of a world that dispises mages and anything magic instead relying on machines and Atmose (blackpowder). Until around the fall of 1043 some strange rumors start to come back from scouts, spys, and travelers about roaming warlords, innocent people being killed, corrupted and warmongering governments. To the west the Augustine Empire is said to have still survived although now under different rulers, some evil powerful forces are said to be ruling over the lands to thesouth, warlords are said to run rampid in the forests to the north, and dark skies are seen to the east.

Teams are being assembled and sent out in all directions to find and uncover information about the unknown and already known threats.
