"A Bridge Divided" a D&D 3rd edtition campaign

I need to start a journal on all of the information that we have obtained on Micheal for Harfein just in case we are not able to stop him ourselves

HAFEIN
The Castle City of Harfein is where is spent my entire life training to protect the lands. We were left here by what we consider the Dwarven King, Darwin, to protect the lands after the Mage War. I have only done a few missions outside of the walls of Harfein to some of the surrounding barbarian cities. I also got the priviliage to travel to the grey elven city of Cormyr with one of our leaders Pandora. Harfein was lucky to get the support of Cormyr because of their help and their magical items Harfein was able to expand and investigate the surrounding areas.

Port Drake
Although this happened before I joined the Party I was told that it was in Port Drake where much of the action occurred. This is where the Party first found out about Micheal when his people attacked the Tri-Tower (Duke's Palace) with infiltration and a collection of magical weapons. There was this man named Dio Elaclaire that they talked about. Even though he was helping the party out at many occasions it seemed like there was more to Dio then meet the eye.

Drop Site
After I joined the Party we were taken to this place aboard the Airship that they were able to aquire in Port Drake. That Airship will make a nice addition to Harfein because once they get it back there it will be probed and tinkered until they can make more on their own. Since it was still night we looked for a place to rest finding refuge with Berlin, who is a dwarf that everyone else has already met. Enutrof followed some strange tracks and I followed quickly after him when I heard the rukus. I was able to cripple a couple of the Poachers and scare off the rest.

Dunnealgate
Dunnealgate is a small town that now has no central government or law because when Micheal's people first came into town they were quick to take out any of the opposition. The Peasants were highly taxed in lived in fear from these people and were happy that we got rid of them but were still scared about the man behind those minions. This town would make a good staging area since its near a water source and the farthest line that Micheal has reached out to. Harfein should set up a pupper government because these peasants are willing to be lead by anybody.

Elly nabbed
While we were travelling east through the Hullack Forest Elly was snatched from our Party without a sound. Enutrof was able to Track some footprints south into a town that was destroyed in a battle. Myr was nearly taken down by an arrow of the kidnapper when a man, who I later found out to be Clive, jumped in the way taking it. In the confusion that ensued we found the Elven Archer was Charisma a friend of Clives and by proxy Ellys. She thought that we were Micheal's men since we were about to walk into one of his boarder camps with Elly. Charisma was kind enough to take us through a route that will take the Party into East Cameron without being found by Micheal's Patrols.

Micheal's Small Boarder Camp
I just know the location of this small camp where I was told that Micheal uses for his patrols in the forest. Charisma said that about a hundred people are there with some gone away on patrols. She also said that Micheal has a half dozen other camps around the forest with similar purposes.

The Haunted Temple of Morbis
This town saw a battle back during the Mage War and its reminents still show with stained blood on the walls and broken weapons littering the ground. In this town there was a temple that still had an occupant in it, though not alive. Morbis was his name and he seemed to not understand the fact that he was dead and incorporeal. Morbis somehow willed the temple to appear as it once did and stood watch over 'his' Robe of Many Things.

The Swamp of Dispear
The Swamp of Dispear is called that because of what happened in the town that it bordered back during the Mage War. Charisma told us a story of when Darwin brought his army down from the north and though the forest to get behind enemy lines while routing out a few problem areas. Three armies clashed at this city; Darwin's, The city's, and Logenous's (The Augustine Empire) and during the ensuing battle Darwin charged straight into the heart of the city to where he saw Logenous while the rest of them took on the Green Dragon that the Bandits were using as a weapon. Who, according to Charisma (hearsay from what Darwin told her) was sitting on top of over a dozen barrels of the newly imported Atmose Powder with a lit torch and an open barrel. Darwin was only given a few seconds before he started to run back past his party and out of the city as the ground rippled and collapsed from the explosion of the Atmose.

East Cameron
Micheal tells nothing to his subbordinates or the ones that we interrogated in Dunnealgate were too low on the food chain to know anything. However there was one thing that we did find out, apparently something is going to be happening in East Cameron because they were told to stay away from that town. I don't know specifically what is happening or where East Cameron is but we do know where to travel and we should reach it in about two days. If Micheal is there to promote his 'godhood' it is my hope that we can stop him before he gets too powerful, but the only thing that worries me is that we were warned that Micheal feels himself to be indestructable and he doesn't even dress up in armor.
UPDATE: East Cameron no longer exists, Micheal used some sort of magical bomb to wipe this poor town of the face of Rul (planet's name, pronounced 'Rule')

Micheal's Keep
The first time we were taken to Micheal's Keep was when Moray captured the Party except for me. I tried a few of my tricks but Moray had the upper hand since he had everyone else in my Party in his possesion. For what I heard of Micheal this place wasn't all that large and didn't seem it could hold the power that Micheal was claiming to possess. It did, however, have one of those Gates standing in the eastern side. That led me to believe that was the reason behind Micheals precesnce here. Before he was able to do much harm to us that Dio character broke into the Keep and activated the Gate. Since there was really no other escape from Micheal we choose to go through that Gate and ended up over six hundred miles to the west. Right at the feet of Sebastian/Longinus we were almost killed until Kevrin recognized us.

After the city of Miragon was attacked by Micheal's forces of the hired goons Orin and Rose along with the dozen or so Bullettes Sebatian said that he would help us get rid of the 'god' Micheal. We were part of the priliminary forces along with Alminster when we attacked Micheal's Keep again. It was disertered except for Moray a dozen guards and two slightly broken clay golems. I went directly for the source, Moray, but needed to head back to help everyone else since the clay golems were beating the crap out of them. I was able to hold my own as all of the spell casters launched fireballs at Moray killing him. Too bad though, because we needed him alive to find out where Micheal went to. Charisma said that she knew some people who knew many things in the forest and might be able to help them find where Micheal's bast is located. We were soon joined by Sebastian and almost two legions of soldiers who took over my new keep. It was unfortuniate but we had to leave to travel to the Hullack elves city but we were soon being tracked by Graven, Sebastian's greastest tracker.

The Hullack Elves' Village
The Hullack Elves weren't too friend towards us to begin with since they knocked all the none elves out with some sort of spell the first time we met. It was understandable since we found out that Micheal used some of his 'daisy cutters' on the Elves village. The person Charisma came here to meet was an elvish monk by the name of Shorin and they seemed to have some sort of romantic history together. When those flying worm demons attacked Shroin knew that they were called Skriglings which made me believe that he knew a lot about demonology. If we were to survive this invastion of several hundred of these creatures then I will remember to ask him about it.
Shorin felt confident to tell another monk his basic knowledge about the demons of this world and sat down in Shorin's home to discuss it, "I may not know everything like those creatures origins but I do know how to hurt them. Basically there are two major factions of demons: The Baatezu and the Tan'ar'ri. Even though the lesser and smaller demons are able to escape into our plain the bigger and most dangerous ones are only able to come here with some help on this side. As I have been told each one of these factions has a master wizard who makes it his goal to bring about their master's body into this realm. Along with their master's blessing they recieve other dark abilities from those demons like eternal life and a purpose. The Tan'ar'ri have a mage known as Gail who attempted to Gate his demon master to this realm well over a thousand years ago. However as I have heard the one to fear is the lap-dog for the Baatezu a evil and crazy wizard by the name of Garabaldi. He was responsible to a very large war that overtake half of this continent (the known world) in a battle about five hundred years ago. As I've heard he was successful in gating the demon to this world after he shifted the earth and converted the sky to darkness. Garabaldi had a large number of undead creatures protecting his tower preventing the army that encircled it from entering. But the only reason that this land isn't in darkness is because, according to stories, there was one person who attacked the creature by himself by flying up the side of the tower where it was being summoned. Every five hundred years or so Garabaldi or Gail are able to amass enough power to try this again. For this reason," Shorin starts as he grips his arm, "I was trained to be able to handle them or anything they might throw at us." Shorin rolls up his sleaves to show Kai the tatoos that were imprinted along every facit of his arm, "Because of an unfortunate encounter with a Fire Hyrda I was given these," he says as he rolls up his other sleeve revealing his rippling muscles. "I was told that they have more magic in them then most swords and were created to best demons such at those. That was why I was taught about demons and how to destroy them. With these arms I'll be able to stop a demon like what happened back then. But in these times it seems that demons are becomming more prevalent in this world. Unless you were hiding in a cave in the Talocian Mountains for the past fifty years you could easily see the destruction that they are causing on the lands. It seems from tonights encounter that they use the Gates to travel through all around the world," finishing up Shorin contemplates, "I wonder why they are showing themselves so much more now then before but the fact remains that you can't trust them."

Everyone knows about the Baatezu and the Tan'ar'ri but the wizard Garabaldi I have only heard in legends since he was supposively killed in 500cy (cy=common year). His body might have never been found but he was only a human and humans don't live that long not even with magiks. But to hear that their was a rise is demons wondering these lands was a little disturbing to tell the truth. I had better keep my eye out so I can slay them before they can hurt anyone.

Micheal's Castle
The Party arrived at Micheal's Castle way ahead of Sebastian's army. It has six corners with two dozen archer towers surrounding the outside and inside of the twenty foot high walls. The drawbridge sat wide open giving a clear indication that Micheal had set a trap. The two hundred soldiers that were sent after us were taken down pretty easily with Longinus killing almost eighty of them with some sort of aura of death he had around himself. After the archers and spell casters had their way with them I was able to take down almost twenty. But, that wasn't the hardest challenge because Micheal made his appearance. When Sebastian/Longinus jumped up to attack Micheal from above with a slay living spell the attack was intercepted by a shield golem. This shield golem even took critical damage from a high level spell caster's disintigrate spell. I thought that a wizard such as Sebastian would be able to do more damage then that given what age I believe that he is which led me to believe that he wasn't always a wizard and might have just been a soldier given his fighting prowess that he had during this battle. At the appearance of two more shield golems that came after us with one turning invisible and the other slowing most of the people in our group. As Sebastian dealt with one of the shield golems and Micheal we had to deal with the other two, which was proving to be difficult due to the high damage that they were causing. By the time Sebastian destoryed the first shield golem Micheal grabbled him and teleported them both a thousand feet above the battle ground. This left us with the newely summoned Iron Golem. The Iron Golem was immune to all weapons and all magic save for only very enchanter weaponry. I don't know where he got it but Clive was able to face it down along with the strange gnome, Jonis.

When Sebastian stood up from being dropped to the ground Micheal pulled out all of the stops. He pulled out the sword of Kusanagi, a brass sword built of fire and forged in the efreeti City of Brass, but I didn't know that at the time. Micheal launched some 'rings of fire' at us making large explosions everywhere until Sebastian slammed him through the chapel door. Micheal had nothing left since I took out the shield golems and Clive took out the Iron golem and finally summoned the Efreeti Kolos from within the sword to attack us. I tumbled past that beast and attacked Micheal directly. Although I was able to do enough damage to break some of his bones I had been too hurt from my battles earlier that I was taken down soon after. I was told later that Myr was able to freeze Kolos to death and Sebastian stopped Micheal from killing everyone just long enough for us to escape. I don't know how many 'daisy cutters' were there when they all finally detonated but it left a crater some three hundred yards deep and over a thousand yards wide. I thought that nothing had survived until I got to the rim of the crater and saw Longinus fly out of the center and float over to the side.

The Way Out of the Hullack Forest
After Sebastian and the Crimson Knights left the crater that used to be Micheal's Castle we made camp for the night. While resting we were met again by Shorin and some of his elves who saw the explosion hours ealier. Shorin offered to lead us out to the nearest human city and since we had no means of traveling through the Gate or by Airship this seemed to be our only way. Charisma said that she was going to leave our Party to help Shorin help the Hullack elves out for awhile. Since Jonis was able to 'Seal' the sword Kusanagi he placed it in his little box for safe keeping and said that he had other places that he needed to go to. The newley married couple Clive and Elly will follow along with us until we get to Ceartree and part ways soon after since they won't be returning with us to Harfein. However, the one that I am still worried about is Sebastian, also known as Longinus, who went back to the isolated Keep but soon he will travel to more populated areas to continue his experiments and to continue whatever plans that he had thought of.
