Chapter 4
" Lost in Thought "

prologue

"I can't believe it. All of those people . . . . dead, in a heart beat, " was all that she could say before the tears started to come again. "Clive why, why, why did you have to leave me? I loved you so much. I took out relationship for granteed, I should have told you, before you died." Elly started to cry again at that thought.

"There is no way that Harfein will be able to stand up to that kind of power." "How can one man have so much magical power at his disposal." "And Micheal has many followers who would die for him. Because they're too afraid not to." were some murmors that Kai echoed through the caverns..

The party was at their lowest: they are beaten up, defeated, and a few members short, and now on the run. These caves were the only thing that gave them protection by giving themselves a place to hide. Winter was comming in and the temperature was dropping. They couldn't even light a fire because the ones who were chasing them might spot the light.

The Dire Wolf stood up again and walked over to Enutrof and placed her paw on his lap. It was probably the most calming thing to him at this moment, Conti then sat down beside him wagging her tail trying to keep a high spirit. Even though Micheal is a powerful force, if Clive was right then it means a much older and darker force has come back again. You can't believe that the mage could has also come back, he was suppose to be dead, you can't come back from a death like that, but as before if Clive was right then that means he's still alive.

"Don't give up hope," says Jonis, "The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in moments of pain. Hope is the only thing you have left now because our lives are made by the death of others."

<jingle, jingle> [ the gnome stamps his staff on the ground again to make the rings roll around the hoop to make the ringing sounds again. It's almost a comforting feeling then Jonis pulls his staff closer to himself and smiles that broad grin of his. ]
