- Character Notes -
Born into one of the small villages of Wardin in the icy cold of the northern coast and born under the light of the 'Night Eye' Orin was fated to be the greatest swordsman of his village. But Orin wasn't the only one that was born that day and to the villages surprise another chile was born Orin's older sister Rose. Being fearful of how powerful this village would become a neighboring Wardine village attacked during the night after a celebration six years after Orin's birth. The village was unprepared and it was all Orin's mother could do to hide him and his sister, Rose, before their door was broken down. Orin didn't want to see the men rape and kill his mother so he closed his eyes and waited until all of the screams stopped. Most of their village was burned to the ground and the bodies littered the blood soaked ground. Orin knew that he would have to protect his sister so after burying their family and friends he took what he could from the ruined village. Finding some runaway horses they packed what they could and left their home forever. Knowing that they could only rely on each other and no one else they went in search for masters to train him in the way of the most destructive weapon he could find, the Bastard Sword. After learning what he could from a master he paid his respects before he left for the next.
Orin always relied on his sister and never wanted to loose her so after he finally came of age after her around sixteen years old, Orin and his twin sister Rose created a stronger bond between the both of them that would never be broken.

During their travels across the land the found an arch made of some very dark metal in an old castle that they eventually found out that it was one of many Gates in a network of gates. Wanting to find out some more information about this they went to the only person that they thought could help them. Only a day before the festival, Orin traveled into Miragon to talk with the head of the Crimson Knights to give some information to him.

Even though Micheal hired both him and his sister to help take out Sebastian and the Crimson Knights they had no loyalty to him what-so-ever. Since he already knew some of the basics about the Gates he had enough knowledge to know what the coin did that Micheal always kept with him, so he palmed it before they left. He did this so he could hand over the token to Sebastian when he met with him to warn him about the God Micheal. "With this coin you will be able to use any of those Gates to step directly into Micheal's main base," Orin finished up saying before he left to meet with Rose. Everything that they did was to hide the fact that they wanted Garabaldi's Flying Castle all for themselves. After all of the fighting was done on the surface the flying castle broke up through its resting place under the ground to fly on the winds of fate with just him and his sister.
