From Birth Melaar had amazing magical powers. He was trained and taught to be the best because of his natural abilities to predict and mold future events.

- Character Notes -
Melaar showed natural talent for magic even before he came of age and was taught and trained by some of the most gifted elves around so that he would be able to use his powers to defend the elves of Mirkwood Forest. Brining them many victories in both defence of the forest and attacks upon the goblins he became highly saught after. In the year 499 the council of elves recieved a message from The Kingdom of Valor, far to the east. The Paladin Sir Dre of Valor wrote personally to beg the assistance of the Profit Melaar to help him drive back an evil that would not stop at the destruction of Men. A Wizard by the name of Garabaldi was to summon his master a demon Ba'ta'zu from the seventh layer of hell to Tyboria (the name of the continent). Melaar agreed and traveled with haste to meet this Paladin. He was able to find the location where the summoning was to take place before the occurance. Many men marched to battle and lost their lives on the field including Sir Dre, but at the end of the day the summoning was halted and the wizard lost.

Twenty years later while traveling between Mirkwood and the Grey Elf City of Cormyr he met a Dwarf in Pax Tharkas who asked for his help. After hearing his story and some of his prodictions Melaar agreed to help the Dwarf seal the door. Melaar then promised him that when the time was right he would reveal the information that Darwin imparted to him because dwarves won't live that long.

Unfortunitally even Elves soon sucum to age and unable to give the weight of this mission to the only one that was left in his life that met anything to him, his adopted daugther, Charisma. Melaar made sure that he would never try to harm Charisma he choose to leave Mirkwood to find someway of cheater death for awhile longer. When he saw the younger elven girl die and transform into a nicely shaped and shining Amber Gem he found his last chance to live long enough to pass on the message. Thinking that it was alright to do some evil as long as good prevailed Melaar took on the company of Ergo, a half-ogre who wanted the Two-Handed Sword + 2 of Haste as payment in return. Melaar was uneasy about what he was doing and soon cracked when he saw Ergo try to kill Charisma. So Melaar dealth the touch of death to Ergo who fell down, forever dead. He helped his daughter and a band of travelers defeat the Mechinized-Ruby, an ancient gargantum Red Dragon enchanced with primitive automail.

Melaar succumed to an early death when he and Charisma defeated an adult Green Dragon which then fell from the sky and landed on him while breathing acid. He body was never recovered and for some reason his soul was trapped deep underground in a Whisper Gallery where he kept reliving all of his past memories until he was able to remember something. The problem was with no one to whisper to he was unable to remember anything in his life until Cade, Enutrof, Myr, Jonis, and Elly entered after Dio walked down an invisible staircase to the room. He remembered the promise that he made to Darwin and told the Party the information from that promise and started to disapear because he remembered what he forgot. However his promise to Darwin was not what he was trying to remember and unable to stay on this plane of existance he whispered one thing as he disapeared, "No wait it was Delphine. . . "
